As a Junior Project Manager, you will play a vital role in assisting with the planning, coordination, and execution of data consulting and software development projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, software engineers, and business stakeholders, to ensure the successful delivery of projects within scope, schedule, and budget. Responsibilities

1. Assist in the planning and coordination of project activities, including defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
2. Collaborate with senior project managers and team leads to develop project plans, work breakdown structures, and resource allocation strategies.
3. Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and develop mitigation plans to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
4. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication, collaboration, and adherence to project goals.
5. Support project documentation, including creating and maintaining project schedules, status reports, meeting minutes, and other project-related artifacts.
6. Assist in managing project budgets, tracking expenses, and providing regular updates to stakeholders.
7. Contribute to the development and improvement of project management processes, methodologies, and tools.
8. Assist in conducting post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
9. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data consulting and software development.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or a related field.
2. Previous experience in a project management role or relevant internships/co-op programs is preferred.
3. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
5. Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and address project-related challenges.
6. Familiarity with project management methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum, is a plus.
7. Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as JIRA, Asana, or Microsoft Project.
8. Basic knowledge of data analytics and software development concepts is desirable.
9. Demonstrated passion for learning and staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.
